Willow Weaving Workshops
We run online and in-person willow weaving workshops where you can learn to weave a variety of willow products including baskets, bird feeders and even a luxurious pet bed.
Willow Coffin and Urns
Individually handcrafted, eco-friendly coffins and urns made from sustainable Scottish willow to support gentle, natural departures.
Away with Willow Coffins are appropriate for cremation, traditional burials, and green woodland burial sites.
For each Away with Willow Coffin purchased, a new tree will be planted. This new woodland, next to the willow field, reflects the cycle of life and is at the centre of Away with Willow Coffin’s ethos, from death new life is born.
UK regulations state that you are never required to purchase a coffin from a funeral director, there are no hidden fees or penalties for choosing your own provider, such as Away with Willow Coffins. Funeral homes cannot refuse an outside coffin or charge a penalty fee for using one. #supportlocal
All willow is grown and harvested by hand in our willow field in East Lothian, located directly beside our workshop, where each coffin is personally handcrafted and woven with love.
